Local family run boutique vineyard. Beautiful cellar door setting, excellent wines a personalised service. Highly recommended, not to miss in your Marlborough wine tour!
This was the last vineyard I visited, a family run establishment, I was made to feel very welcome, the wine was superb, this is a small vineyard and has a pleasant nice touch, the owners started by planting all the vines by hand, blood, sweat, tears and a lot of hard work has gone into producing this outstanding vineyard with great quality wine, there are lots of photos recording the start of the owners journey, which is a real nice touch. This isn't on the same scale as commercial vineyards and totally deserves support and praise for their quality products.
The best wine I tasted in the region. I will be purchasing this wine in the UK it's that good.
We stopped in at this small winery and had the pleasure of being hosted by the owners themselves - a rare treat. She was very knowledgeable and spoke about their story with us. We loved the fact that we had such easy access to the owners' personal story. The wines were great too. Visit if you are in the area.
It was a perfect afternoon visiting this intimate cellar door. The owner was warm and welcoming in sharing his wine and stories of his family and history. Wines were delicious and we tried our first Pinot Gris which we liked so much we bought a bottle for a later time. Highly recommend.
